Kyle Richards Says Garcelle Beauvais Is Not Responding to Her Texts

Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais aren’t exactly trading jokes and memes.

Following Garcelle’s exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle revealed she’s tried to get in touch with her former costar—more than once, in fact—but so far, her efforts have been fruitless.

“I haven’t heard from her,” she told E! News in an exclusive interview, airing April 8 at 11 p.m. “I texted her twice and haven’t heard back.”

During the April 1 episode of the season 14 reunion, Garcelle, 58, took heat from a number of her castmates—including Kyle, 56, who criticized the Jamie Foxx Show alum for repeatedly raising questions about her friendship with country singer Morgan Wade. But despite the confrontation, the Halloween star had only positive things to say about Garcelle’s future.

“It’s unfortunate she left, but I do wish her the best,” Kyle told E!. “I think she’ll always do well, so I’m not worried about her next chapter.”

Garcelle, who joined RHOBH in 2020, announced her departure from the Bravo series in March, explaining that she wanted to spend more time with her twin sons Jax and Jaid, 17, and to pursue new projects.

“It’s been a wild ride,” she said in a video posted on Instagram at the time. “I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride.”

And while her five-season run may have come to a close, Garcelle hasn’t ruled out a return to the series down the road.

Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime,” she continued. “The door will always be open, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime.”

As for Kyle, she’ll next appear on Wild Cards on The CW April 9.

Bravo’s ill-fated attempt at highlighting our nation’s capital brought together four women so forgettable you’d be forgiven for erasing them from your memory—though their names are Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney and Stacie Scott Turner—and one so desperate for fame that she gate-crashed a party at the White House. Utah’s newest season two Housewife went out with a bang (and not in a good way). In January 2022, Jennie was fired after “offensive” and racially insensitive old Facebook posts resurfaced online. Jennie later apologized but the damage was done.
