“The White Lotus” co-stars Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood appeared to have a friendly bond before rift rumors began.
In a resurfaced Instagram comment from August 2024, Goggins gushed of Wood, “You are the brightest light in every room. A Humans Human. Miss you. .”
He left the kind message in the comments section of a post the actress shared, in which she reminisced on filming the hit HBO Max show, including some moments that featured the actor.

In some of the images, the pair — who played lovers Rick and Chelsea, a couple trying to navigate their dysfunctional relationship while on a trip to Thailand — appeared cozy as they embraced each other.
However, eight months later, Goggins and Wood’s friendship appears to have soured, as they no longer follow each other on the social media app.
People have even speculated that the “Shield” alum, 53, blocked the “Daddy Issues” star, 31, since her comments no longer appear on his Instagram profile.

Goggins and Wood also posted recently separate tributes to their characters but did not tag each other.
The “Righteous Gemstones” alum wrote via Instagram earlier this week, “Rick + Chelsea. With the heaviest of hearts… To me, ours was a love story. It was only ever a love story, hindered by unresolved, childhood trauma. We all have them… but can we move past them.
“In the depths of our despair there is always beauty around us. If we can sit with our pain, just sit with it… not react… not be defined by it…It’s there… the love the world is constantly giving in any given moment is there. Always waiting for us to see it… Trust me I know,” he continued.

Goggins went on to thank “White Lotus” creator Mike White for the opportunity and wrote to Wood, “Thank you Aimee Lou for being my partner… a journey I will never forget.”
The “Sex Education” alum, for her part, kept it short and simple with a picture of graffiti on a garage door that read, “i love you. Forever.” and “R+C” written inside of a heart.
Wood wrote in the caption, “I only went home once whilst filming White Lotus. This is what I saw on the first day back there. R and C forever .”

She added one more photo of her and Goggins walking through Thailand together while dressed in character and wrote alongside of it, “The perfect storm ️.”
Wood also lamented Goggins’ absence at their finale viewing party during a Hollywood Reporter interview.
Their reps did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
