The actor, who suffered a stroke three years ago, looked in good spirits and revealed he was ‘doing well’.
The 69-year-old, best known for his role in Dr Frank N Furter in the The Rocky Horror Show, was honoured at the event with The Actors Fund Lifetime Achievement Award
Showing his great sense of humour, he joked about the fund assisting funeral cost, saying: “I’ve done a few benefits for the Actors Fund and I think it’s a marvellous organization. I hope not to have to use it.”
